We are an active, friendly camera club with a strong membership and a warm welcome for visitors and potential new members.
 
Membership is available to anyone aged 18 years and over. Also to 16 to 18 year olds who are accompanied by a parent/guardian/nominated adult. (For details see the club's vulnerable individuals policy              ). We offer a varied annual programme with an emphasis on encouraging our members to improve their knowledge and practice of photography. We have informative and interesting speakers throughout our season, offering a great opportunity to learn from their knowledge and experience ... or, maybe, just an encouragement to look at things a different way. It doesn’t matter what sort of camera you have, or equipment, we will help you improve the images you create.
 

Visitors are very welcome. When we have an external speaker there will be a £5 visitor charge. These evenings are indicated in the club programme which can be found on the programme page               . People wishing to join the club can attend 3 club run evenings (Eg competitions or practical events) to get a feel for the club. After that time you would be expected to join the club or you will be charged £5 per additional evening attended. Members of other clubs attending an SCPF Competition are welcome as our guest and no charge is levied.
 

When applicable, payment is accepted on the door and can be cash or card. 

 

We recommend any visitors contact the club before any visit. This is to ensure there has been no last minute changes to the programme and we have capacity to accommodate them

Our current subscription is £60 for the 2025/26 season, which starts in September 2025. People joining later in the season have the fee reduced proportionately based on the first meeting they attended.

Our normal programme season operates between September to May, when we meet at 7:30p.m every Monday at St Michael's Church, Colehill Lane, Colehill, Wimborne BH21 7AB.
